Low Cost Pet Vaccination Clinic Tomorrow 5/29/14

County officials and a nonprofit agency are hosting a low-cost pet clinic Thursday in Covina, officials said.

The clinic for dogs and cats will be held on a first-come, first-served basis from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the skating rink of Covina Park, 301. N. Fourth Ave., city officials said in a written statement.

Pet owners must be at least 18 years old, and all pets must be on leashes or in carriers, healthy and not pregnant.

Rabies vaccinations will be available for $10. Other vaccinations, treatments and microchipping are available at a reduced cost.

The event is being hosted by the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control, along with the Society for California Veterinary Vaccine Care.
